Burgers aren’t meant to be veggie initially I guess π … On staying abroad I picked up few western dishes that are easy and can be converted to vegetarianπ which includes burger and sandwich. For me both of them are same where burger there’s a patty and sandwiches don’t have oneπ But this burger sandwich!!! doesn’t have a patty, though tastes fresh and delicious.

Veggie Burger(no patty)

For stacking:
3no’s wholemeal burger cut into halves
4-5 lettuce leaves chopped
1 ½ large tomato sliced
1 cucumber sliced
3no’s cheese slice
Condiments:
2 tbsp Chilli Sauce
For avocado spread/dressing:
1 avocado soft and ripe
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp olive oil
½ tsp salt
To roast burger:
2 tbsp of olive butter/clarified butter
To Make your Burger:
1.Slit open avocado and slice inside before scooping out the flesh.
Use a metal spoon to scoop out the slices. To the avocado add lemon juice salt and olive oil.
By pressing slightly the avocados mix till it reaches a smooth texture or as a buttery consistency.
2.Slice the vegetables given for stacking.
3.Preheat a skillet. Cut the burger into halves. Roast them with butter smeared on both the sides pressing it down till crisp and nice outside.
4. Bring roasted buns to the assembling board. To the base bun spread avocado dressing. Over it stack cucumber tomatoes lettuce cheese. To the cap bun spread chilli sauce and cover the burger.
Serve it with sauce and potato chips :)

Note:
When making burger use veggies blanched in ice water to get crunchy bites or grill them. You can add onions, capsicum, olives and boiled potatoes.
