Easy Curry leaves Chutney

There are many versions of curry leaves chutney,  this is yet another simple chutney which requires no cooking. Completely packed with vitamins and nutrients. If you can’t convince your kid to eat the curry leaves in the dishes you cook then this would be a great choice.

Ingredients to grind:
1 cup tightly packed fresh curry leaves
½ cup coriander leaves
1 garlic pod
1 green chili
1 tsp tamarind/ 1 tsp lemon juice
2 tbsp grated/shredded coconut
2 tbsp roasted gram/pottukadalai
Salt as needed

To temper:
½ tbsp sesame oil
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp Urad Dal
1 tsp Channa Dal
½ tsp jeera/cumin seeds

To make your chutney:
1.Slide in all the ingredients to grind in a food processor/mixer. Grind to a fine paste adding sufficient water to make the chutney in desired consistency(thick/runny).
2. Temper the items given to temper and pour over the chutney when you are about to serve.
Serve with hot Idly dosa.


Note:
Don’t make the chutney runny.If you want more spicy add one more chilli. If you are not using tamarind then grind all the ingredients except it and lastly add lemon juice.
